قال الناطق الرسمي بإسم القوات المسلحة العميد عصام عوض عبد الوهاب ، إن ما يُروّج له حول إستهداف زريبة الشيخ البرعي ليس سوى محاولة مكشوفة من ميليش_يا آل دقلو الإره_ابية لصرف الأنظار عن الجرائم التي ترتكبها ضد المدنيين في مناطق عدة من السودان ومحاولاتها المستمرة لتضليل الرأى العام والتغطية علي تلك الجرائم ..

نؤكد أن القوات المسلحة لم ولن تستهدف دور العبادة أو التجمعات المدنية تحت أي ظرف، وهي دوماً ملتزمة بقواعد الإشتباك ومبادئ القانون الدولي الإنساني ..

What’s being circulated regarding the targeting of Al-sheikh Al Burai ranch is nothing but a clear attempt by the terrorist Rapid Support militia (Janjaweed) to distract from the crimes it is committing against civilians in various areas in Sudan and a continuing attempt to mislead public opinion and cover up for those crimes.

We affirm that the Sudanese Armed Forces has not and will not target places of worships or civilian gathering under any circumstance and that its is always committed to the rules of engagement and international humanitarian law.
